Rajasthan has amended its six-decade-old shops law through The Rajasthan Shops and Commercial Establishments (Amendment) Act, 2026 (Act No. 5 of 2026). The Act received the Governor’s assent on 24 March 2026 and was published in the Rajasthan Gazette (Extraordinary) on 27 March 2026.
