Effective: 1 October 2026
The UT Administration has raised the cost-of-living-linked Special Allowance by ₹12.00 per day across all scheduled employments. Basic pay remains as fixed under the 18 August 2023 notification (No. LE/LI/DMN/MWA-3(II)/2023/349); this is the fifth special-allowance revision since then (earlier revisions dated 28-10-2024, 09-05-2025, 25-11-2025 and 30-04-2026).

Compliance notes
- Applies uniformly to all scheduled employments in the UT — no sector-specific carve-outs.
- Since the increase is effective 1 October 2026 but notified on 4 November, October 2026 wages already paid will need arrears of ₹12/day for each day worked.
