The Finance Department of Maharashtra has amended Rule 11(3) of the Maharashtra State Tax on Professions, Trades, Callings and Employments Rules, 1975. The amendment substitutes the annual “31st of March” deadline with the “15th of March”. Similarly, the general monthly deadline has been advanced from the “last date” of the month to the “15th day” of the month.
