The Office of the Labour Commissioner, Maharashtra has declared the revised special allowance rates payable along with basic minimum wages for the half-year beginning 1 July 2026.

Date of Applicability: 1 July 2026 to 31 December 2026

Zone Definition:
- Zone I – All Municipal Corporation limits, Cantonment areas, and industrial areas within a 20 km radius of Municipal Corporation limits — Mumbai, Pune, Navi Mumbai, Thane, Nagpur, Nashik, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar and others
- Zone II – Areas within the limits of A- and B-grade Municipal Councils
- Zone III – All remaining areas of Maharashtra not covered by Zones I and II
