Zones have been defined as below:
Zone-1: Areas falling within the limits of the Greater Bengaluru Authority. Zone-2: All other Mahanagara Palikes (Municipal Corporations) and all District Headquarters in the State. Zone-3: All areas other than those specified in Zone-1 and Zone-2.
Skill Category has been defined as below:
Unskilled Workers: Unskilled Workers are workers who perform tasks on the basis of physical labour and are engaged in simple duties not requiring personal judgement or prior experience. Familiarity with the occupational / work environment and physical labour are the main elements of this category.
Semi-Skilled Workers: Semi-Skilled Workers are workers who perform a fixed routine of recurring work and have limited scope for personal judgement. Their work has fixed boundaries and is carried out in accordance with another person’s decision. They perform simple work conducted with the assistance of machines.
Skilled Workers: Skilled Workers are workers who perform responsible duties subject to their own judgement, decision-making and discretion. They possess thorough and detailed knowledge of their occupation and employment. They have the educational qualification and experience related to the said occupation and employment.
Highly Skilled Workers: Highly Skilled Workers are workers who possess the expertise and intensive capability to discharge duties, supervise the duties of all workers including Skilled Workers, and are capable of effectively achieving outcomes — and possess special knowledge and qualifications relating to the said occupation and employment.
