Key conditions in the notification:
VDA is rounded off, with the consent of the Jharkhand Minimum Wages Advisory Board.
Monthly and daily rates convert by dividing or multiplying by 26.
The rates include pay for the weekly day of rest. Work on that day earns overtime under Rule 25 of the Jharkhand Minimum Wages Rules, 1951.
Men and women get the same rate for work of a similar nature.
Minimum wages will not be reduced if the index falls.
