{"id":3554,"date":"2026-09-15T17:01:16","date_gmt":"2026-09-15T11:31:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.sgcms.com\/regulatory-updates\/?p=3554"},"modified":"2026-09-18T13:20:54","modified_gmt":"2026-09-18T07:50:54","slug":"employees-enrolment-campaign-2026-extended-till-october-2026","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.sgcms.com\/regulatory-updates\/employees-enrolment-campaign-2026-extended-till-october-2026\/","title":{"rendered":"Employees&#8217; Enrolment Campaign, 2026 : Extended till October, 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<p dir=\"ltr\">The Ministry of Labour &amp; Employment has released a notification (PIB Mumbai, dated 17 August 2026) announcing the Employees&#8217; Enrolment Campaign (EEC) 2026 \u2014 a one-time window for employers to regularise past EPF enrolment gaps.<\/p>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\">\n<li><strong>What it is<\/strong>: a special one-time opportunity for employers to voluntarily enrol eligible employees who were left out of EPF coverage between <strong>1 April 2009 and 31 March 2026<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Campaign window<\/strong>: <strong>1 July 2026 to 31 October 2026<\/strong> \u2014 enrolment must be completed within this period to avail the campaign benefits.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Employee&#8217;s share waived<\/strong>: where the employee&#8217;s EPF contribution was not deducted from wages, that share stands waived.<\/li>\n<li><strong>What the employer pays<\/strong>: the employer&#8217;s share of contribution, applicable interest and administrative charges, plus lump-sum damages of <strong>\u20b9100<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>How to enrol<\/strong>: online through the EPFO Employer Portal by submitting the prescribed declaration, with Face Authentication-based UAN generation and ECR-linked TRRN filing.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Purpose<\/strong>: regularise past enrolment gaps and extend PF, pension and related social security benefits to employees who were left out.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please find attached the official notification:<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sgcms.com\/regulatory-updates\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/Press-release-EEC-2026.pdf\">Press release &#8211; EEC 2026<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Ministry of Labour &amp; Employment has released a notification (PIB Mumbai, dated 17 August 2026) announcing the Employees&#8217; Enrolment Campaign (EEC) 2026 \u2014 a one-time window for employers to regularise past EPF enrolment gaps.
