As per the official statement of Union Labour secretary; Ms. Vandana Gurnani,<\/em><\/p>\n

The rules must be pre-published again after the Codes have come into effect. So, once Govt. pre-publish the central rules, it will allow 45 days for comments for all stakeholders, and then take another 30\u201345 days to finalise them.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Hence, in about two-and-a-half to three months, the final central rules should be notified.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Completion of this process is a statutory prerequisite for the full implementation of the rules.<\/em><\/p>\n

Subsequently, the final Central Rules under all four Labour Codes shall be formally notified by the competent authority.<\/em><\/p>\n
